Carriage of skis and snowboards is strictly limited on flights. Ski/Snow Boards are charged at £70 per person for the return trip on a short, medium or long haul flight.
Item/s that are not pre-purchased will be charged excess baggage fees and are subject to load and cannot be guaranteed
Only Ski Carriage purchased
For each ski/snowboard carriage paid, only 1 x pair of skis & 1 x ski boots or 1 x snowboard & 1 x snow boots may be carried, with a maximum total allowance of 15kgs. We do not allow 2 sets of skis or snowboards to be placed in any one bag. Please be advised that your total baggage weight allowance for your Ski Carriage can be distributed between more than 1 bag. The combination of all bags must not exceed 15kgs. Ski or snowboard boots may be carried on to the plane as part of your hand baggage allowance, to which the total hand baggage should not exceed 5Kg in weight and must fall within the hand baggage dimensions of 55cm x 40 cm x 20cm.
Ski Carriage and Hold Baggage purchased
Should you wish to use one large ski/snowboard bag or hard case to carry both your equipment and personal belongings together, this may not exceed 30kgs due to weight and lifting restrictions. No other luggage may be checked in (with the exception of your boot bag which falls within the 30kgs maximum weight allowance). Ski carriage and Hold baggage must still be paid. Ski or snowboard boots may be carried on to the plane as part of your hand baggage allowance, to which the total hand baggage should not exceed 5Kg in weight and must fall within the hand baggage dimensions of 55cm x 40 cm x 20cm.
