SAS Scandinavian Airlines Ski Bag Fees

Your skis and ski equipment are accepted on SAS Airlines as regular baggage.

Your ski bag and an optional ski boot bag together will count as one regular piece of baggage, and may be taken in place of a suitcase as part of your regular free baggage allowance. Your ski bag and boot bag must only contain ski-related equipment (no clothing allowed) in order to be accepted together, otherwise they will be charged separately. If bringing your ski bag exceeds your standard baggage allowance, you will have to add an extra suitcase to your booking. It is best to do so as early as possible, as prices go up the closer you get to your flight's departure.

Your ski bag is limited in weight to 23 kg / 50 lbs, otherwise an overweight baggage fee will be charged. If bringing a separate boot bag, the total combined weight of ski bag + boot bag must not exceed the 23 kg / 50 lbs limit.
