Virgin America Kitesurfing Equipment Policy

Kitesurfing Equipment will be carried on-board Virgin America flights for a $50 fee, similar to a surfboard.

Kiteboards can be carried with up to 2 surfboards in one board bag. The fins must be removed if not fixed. If the fins cannot be removed they must be well-padded. Acceptance of surfboards will require a limited release tag. $50 USD fee applies for a surfboard bag.

Kites can be packed in your regular checked baggage, and standard checked baggage fees apply. © Copyright 2018 - Privacy - Disclaimer
