Fishing/Angling equipment is accepted on Iceland Air flights, with a flat fee to be paid for transport if it exceeds your regular free baggage allowance.
Any sports equipment that is checked in seperately will count as one piece of checked baggage. If your baggage count (item of sports equipment + number of other bags to be checked) exceeds the maximum number of items allowed by your fare type, additional checked baggage charges will apply. Fishing equipment may consist of the following: one tackle box or one haversack or one angler¡¯s basket, plus one rod. All items must be in one bag or box.
Fishing equipment may be added prior to departure by contacting the Iceland Air service center. A 20% discount applies compared to the airport fee, if paid in advance.

Iceland - North America: EUR 46 / $49 / 65 CAD/ 39 GBP
