jet2.com Bike Fees and Policies

Jet.com will accept your bike for transportation on your flight, upon payment of a Sports Equipment fee - typically 30 GBP. This fee will be displayed to you when adding your bike to your reservation.

Your bike box may weigh up to a maximum of 32 kg / 70 lbs. Bike boxes heavier than 32 kg / 70 lbs will not be accepted. [AMZ asins='B00JEILGMK,B00FRG7Q7W,B018FF6EV0,B00FNSS6QY']

When packing your bicycle for flying on Jet.com, be sure to remove the pedals, turn the handlebars in line with the frame, deflate the tires, and pack it in a secure box.

Any charges are payable at the departure airport and are non-refundable. Please retain your receipt to show when checking-in for your return flight otherwise you will be charged again. Payment is accepted in local currency cash or by payment card which support foreign currency transactions.

If you are planning to travel with outsize baggage please allow extra time for the check-in process.

***Bicycles must be wrapped in stiff cardboard with the pedals off and the handlebars turned in line with the frame. Tyres must also be partially deflated.

You must contact Jet2.com ahead of time to reserve space for your bicycle, otherwise it may not be accepted at the check-in desk.
