A passenger who wishes to take a bicycle on a flight must take care of the following:
The bicycle must be wrapped in suitable cardboard.
The pedals must be reversed (facing inwards).
The handlebar must be turned 90 degrees so that it is in a straight line with the chassis.
Tires must not be inflated.

The bicycle forms part of the passenger’s permitted baggage weight (20 kg). If the passenger’s baggage weights more than the permitted 20 kg., he will be charged for the excess as is the custom (tariff available at flight check-in desks).
