Hawaiian Airlines will accept non-motorized touring or racing bicycles with single seats and bicycles with tandem seats. You can check in your bicycle at the same time you check in at the ticket counter.

Bicycles do not count as part of your baggage allowance, you’ll always pay an extra fee. This applies whether you pack your bicycle as a single piece or separate pieces. [AMZ asins='B00JEILGMK,B00FRG7Q7W,B018FF6EV0,B00FNSS6QY']

Note: Excludes unicycles, break-apart bicycles or any other type of cycle which can be packed into a standard suitcase. If you can pack them in a standard suitcase, you can include them in your baggage allowance. When in excess, each suitcase will be subject to the excess baggage charge.

If your journey starts with Hawaiian Airlines and continues on other airlines with whom Hawaiian has baggage agreements, your bicycle will be checked through to your destination. Hawaiian Airlines will collect all charges including the other airlines’ handling charges.

Conditions of Acceptance of Bicycles on Hawaiian Airlines
- Bicycles must have the handlebar fixed sideways and pedals removed or pedals and handlebars must be enclosed in plastic foam or similar material.

- Bicycles and any attachable parts must be adequately packed in a box or hard case.

- You must sign a waiver of liability at time of check-in for Hawaiian Airlines to transport the bicycle and/or any attachable parts.

- Hawaiian Airlines will not be responsible for damage to or loss of inadequately/unsuitably packed, uncrated or unprotected bicycles.

- Transportation of bicycles is subject to availability of space.

- Hawaiian Airlines cannot be responsible for ground delivery of a bicycle not accommodated on the flight it was originally accepted for as checked baggage.

Hawaiian Airlines Bicycle Handling Fees
The cost of transporting a bicycle on Hawaiian Airlines is dependent on your origin and destination. Keep in mind that long stopovers (greater than 24 hours) along the way could mean you’ll be charged baggage fees to and from your layover point.

*Maximum length restrictions do not apply to 'Ohana by Hawaiian flights. You are limited to a maximum length of 72 inches.

Maximum Weight:
Maximum Weight (bicycle, attachable parts and container): 50 lbs (23 kg)

EXCEPTION: For travel between the United States and Australia or New Zealand the maximum weight accepted will always be 70 lbs (32 kg).

If item is between 51-100lbs, applicable overweight charges will apply.
