Bikes are accepted as checked baggage by Caribbean Airlines upon payment of the necessary oversize/overweight fees.
Cycling equipment accepted consists of one (1) single seater, non-motorised; touring or racing bicycle. The cycle must be placed in a cardboard container, pedals and handlebars should be encased in plastic foam or handlebars are fixed sideways and pedals removed. The maximum weight allowed per items is 23kgs (50lbs) and maximum dimensions (H+W+L) is 157cms (62 ins). If your bike case is smaller than these dimensions, it will be carried free of charge as a piece of regular baggage. However, most bike boxes are larger than this, so your bike will be brought as excess baggage on a standby basis, at the applicable oversize baggage charge of $75 USD.

Packing Guide
- Bicycle must be securely packed in a travel case specifically designed for that piece of equipment.
- Overweight bags are permitted up to 32kg.
- Oversized sporting equipment will only be accepted as excess baggage on a space available basis, at the applicable excess baggage charge.
