Virgin Australia Archery Fees and Policies

Your archery equipment may be brought free of charge in place of a standard suitcase, provided it does not exceed the weight allowance of 23 kg.

You may need to purchase additional bags if flying with archery equipment in addition to your standard baggage. Keep in mind, if flying with archery equipment on a Lite fare, please note that your fare does not include any free checked bags - you will have to add and pay for all bags online before your flight.

You may pre-purchase up to 2 additional checked bags at the following rates:

At the Airport: $110

Virgin Australia Domestic Baggage Fees 2023 - Longer Flights 3+ Hours

If your archery equipment exceeds the 23 kg weight limit (up to a maximum weight of 32 kg), you will be charged an overweight fee, as follows:

Virgin Australia Domestic Overweight Baggage Fee: $50
Virgin Australia Short-Haul International Overweight Baggage Fee: $100 AUD / NZD
