Two free bags are allowed on all TACA flights, although weight limits depend on the destination.
For Economy Class passengers:
Flying within Peru - 23kg/50lbs total is permitted
International to/from USA, Mexico, Canada, Spain - 23kg/50lbs each of the two bags
To/from Latin America - 32kg/70lbs each of the two bags
If flying Business Class, weight limits are increased to 32kg/70lbs per bag. One exception is flying within Peru, where total combined weight is limited to 32kg/70lbs for both bags together.

Additional bags are charged $40-70 per item, depending on weight, if flying within Peru. Extra bags on international flights are between $125-$225 for each bag. If travelling with excess baggage, it could come out cheaper to pack into fewer bags and pay the overweight fees rather than pay for excess baggage.
Overweight bags within Peru are charged $2.50/kg.
Flights to/from Canada, the US and Mexico are charged flat rates per overweight bag, either $55 or $100 each, depending on whether it is below or above 32kg.
Other international routes charge a flat rates based on the total weight of all your bags, ranging from $55-$220.
